The latest water testing results performed by Peterborough Public Health shows that Beavermead Beach and the beach at Rogers Cove are unsafe for swimming.
While swimming is not an option on the shores of Little Lake, the testing at beaches in Peterborough County show that the water is safe for bathing.
The city suggests that if you’re looking for a place to cool down during this heat wave, splash pads open daily at 9am.
