Peterborough County OPP are looking to speak with witnesses as they continue to investigate a serious crash on Highway 7.
The collision, involving a grey Kia travelling eastbound and a white Toyota travelling westbound, happened between County Road 38 and Asphodel 4th Line on Friday around 4 p.m.
The driver of the grey eastbound passenger vehicle appeared to have crossed over the centre line coming into contact with the white westbound vehicle striking it head on. A third vehicle suffered damage as a result of the debris but the driver was uninjured.
The driver of the eastbound vehicle was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries and was later transported to a trauma centre in Toronto. The driver of the westbound vehicle was transported to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
