Peterborough is marking Recreation and Parks Month in June with a number of events and activities.
With the goal of promoting the benefits of being active and the role that recreation and parks play in our quality of life, the theme of the designated month is Community Thrives Here.
On June 1st, all are invited to Quaker Foods City Square in downtown Peterborough where, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., breakfast, refreshments, group fitness and children’s activities will kick off a full month of recreation-themed activities.
