Europe’s largest boat rental company now has a home on the Trent-Severn Waterway.
A fleet of eight Horizon Cruisers is docked at Horseshoe Bay Marina in Peterborough, available to rent for a short break or an extended trip.
Le Boat managing director Cheryl Brown says the company’s foray into Canada goes back seven years to an initial base on the Rideau Canal.
Brown says each boat is designed so that no boating license or experience is required to operate it, with Le Boat staff teaching renters everything they need to know to boat safely.
Brown adds locating Le Boat on the Trent-Severn is long overdue.
