Registration has opened for the Kinsmen Minor Football League’s Fall Season.
This year, the league will have both a Junior Division (Birth Years 2014-2016) and a Senior Division (Birth Years 2011-2013).
President Bryan Junkin spoke with PTBOToday.ca.
Junkin adds numbers have been trending up and is hopeful this season will be the biggest in KMFL history.
Weekly practices start August 26th, with Saturday games beginning September 14th and the season concluding on Championship Day on November 2nd.
Meantime, Peterborough Cornhole is hosting its 3rd Annual Peterborough Football Fundraising Tournament at Keystone Links Golf & Country Club on Saturday.
Doors open at 9 a.m. and games start at 10 a.m. The Clubhouse will be open for refreshments. Cost is $30 per person. There will also be Raffles, Door Prizes, 50/50 and a Silent Auction.
All proceeds will go directly to the Kinsmen Minor Football League and the Peterborough Wolverines to purchase player equipment and keep player costs low.
