Habitat for Humanity has a very special event planned for this summer that is as much a celebration of donors’ past support as it is a fundraiser for the agency’s work building homes for families in need of a hand up.
Set for June 1st at Northview Gardens in Selwyn, HomeGrown is billed as a Garden Party Fundraiser. Habitat for Humanity communications coordinator Jenn MacDonald explains there will a lot going on.
MacDonald says events such as this are more important than ever in terms of fulfilling the agency’s mandate.
MacDonald adds that she and her colleagues are excited to again host a major in-person event.
Tickets to the event, which is also sponsored by Oldies 96.7, cost $125 and can be purchased at www.habitatpkr.ca.
