Charges have been laid against a 41-year-old Peterborough woman following a break and enter on Tuesday morning.
Police say the break-in occurred at a residence in the area of Aylmer and McDonnel Streets, where clothing, credit cards and electronic items were taken.
As officers canvassed the area, they received a call that a suitcase matching the description of one taken in the incident had been located several blocks away and that two people were seen going through it.
Further investigation revealed that a credit card in one of the victim’s names had been attempted to be used at a nearby store.
A woman matching the description given to police was located a short time later and police say the investigation is ongoing into a possible second suspect.
