Buying a simple treat in Lindsay this spring, can make a big difference. Ross Memorial Hospital Foundation has been chosen as a partner charity by local Tim Hortons owners Nick and Meaghan Chapman, who operate five Tim Hortons restaurants in the area.
“The Ross is our hospital, too. It’s where our four children were born and where we go for care when we need it,” said Nick Chapman. “It’s nice to know that our Smile Cookie campaign will benefit everyone by supporting local patient care.”
From April 29 to May 5, customers purchasing Smile Cookies will be contributing directly to the cause, with proceeds from the sale of these cookies going to the Ross Memorial Hospital Foundation.
The funds raised will support various projects at Ross Memorial Hospital, including the expansion and modernization of the Emergency Department and ICU, the acquisition of a new MRI and CT Scanner, upgrading bedside equipment like IV pumps, and the implementation of a clinical information system that connects patients’ digital health records to medical technology and bedside tools.
Nick and Meaghan Chapman’s Tim Hortons restaurants are located at three spots on Kent Street West, one at the corner of County Road 36 and Mount Hope Street, and another on Hwy 35 south of Hwy 7. So, if you’re in Lindsay during that week, make sure to grab a Smile Cookie and help support a good cause.
