The City of Peterborough has received another payment for hosting Shorelines Casino.
For the fourth quarter, OLG handed over nearly 680-thousand dollars.
The total for the entire fiscal year was over 2.9 million dollars.
Since the gaming site opened in October 2018, Peterborough has now received more than 12.3 million dollars.
These payments to the host communities are based on a formula consistently applied across all gaming sites in Ontario using a graduated scale of gaming revenue at the hosted site.
Ontario Finance Minister Peter Bethlenfalvy says this is one of the many different ways Ontario continues to create good-paying, local jobs that play a critical role in supporting the economy.
