The cancellation of the Canada Day Parade will be among the items up for discussion at General Committee.
As we reported last week, a staff report will be looked at tonight claiming the tradition has become financially unsustainable.
PTBOToday.ca spoke with Councillor Gary Baldwin to get his thoughts.
Baldwin says he understands how difficult it is to put on a parade.
Last year there was just 25 floats that took part and Councillor Gary Baldwin says it has proven to be a challenging time of year to draw participants.
In place of the parade, staff are suggesting new events in Millennium and Del Crary Park.
