Trent University’s spirit paid a huge dividend April 3rd in the form of $83,000 raised in support of students and programs, the securing of 35 new donors, and almost 1,500 pounds collected for food banks in Peterborough and Durham.
The 4th annual Trent Day, which marks the April 1963 signing of the Trent Act that formalized the university as a degree-granting institution, saw students and faculty come together in support of student needs.
In addition, students, alumni, faculty and staff rolled up their sleeves to help various agencies, Kawartha Food Share, Cuddles For Cancer and Teachers For Kids.
