The Peterborough Police Service is investigating an incident involving a taxi driver and a passenger that occurred near King and Bethune Streets late last week.
Police say just before 5:30 pm on Friday, a male passenger, who had already paid for his ride, became agitated when the cab door wouldn’t open.
The driver got out and opened the door, and that’s when the passenger brandished brass knuckles with a knife attached, verbally threatening the driver before fleeing the scene.
The suspect was described to police as:
- White Male
- Bright Blue Eyes
- Red/Blonde Hair
- 5’6″; 180 lbs
- Wearing a Grey Sweatshirt, Grey Trackpants, White Shoes, Grey Backpack, White hat
