The 42nd Annual ‘Float Your Fanny Down The Ganny’ has come and gone.
Unfortunately for 2024’s audience , unsafe conditions set the finish line short – ending the race at Corbett’s Dam.
We caught up with organizer, Barry Adamson, after he told us that the rapids were so strong – they were sweeping away safety crews.
The weather conditions also meant that boaters couldn’t participate in this year’s newly established “floaty” category.
Despite the challenging weather, both Adamson and co-organizer Richard Price said the event was an overall success. Participant Stacy Chadwick and her team “The Foxy Ladies” say they enjoyed their second time participating.
Michel and Louis Carbardos were this year’s 1st place winners, finishing the run in 44 minutes, 59 seconds.
