The Peterborough Theatre Guild will close out its six-play 2023-24 season in May with Girl In The Goldfish Bowl at the Guild Hall on Rogers Street.
Written by Morris Panych, the comedy features a small cast of five but serves up some big themes.
Director Kim Blackwell, best known for her decades-long work with 4th Line Theatre, says the storyline speaks to a defining moment in her life – something she hopes the audience will also experience.
The opportunity to direct a Guild production, says Blackwell, brings her home to a place that was a big part of her youth.
Whether it’s at 4th Line Theatre or the Guild Hall, Blackwell says “something really magical” defines the relationship between the cast and audience.
Girl In The Goldfish Bowl opens May 3rd and continues until May 18th. For tickets, visit www.peterboroughtheatreguild.com or call 705-745-4211.
