Plenty of people laced up their bowling shoes and hit the lanes for a great cause.
Yesterday marked the Lanes of Love Bowl-a-thon held at Lakeview Bowl by the Down Syndrome Association of Peterborough.
The most recent stats show about 1 in every 741 babies in Canada have Down syndrome.
Executive Director Vanessa Bruce says this is a really big opportunity for them to raise cash.
Bruce says after changing facilities recently, one thing was very clear.
Bruce says anyone who missed the event can still get involved in helping.
