A fatal head-on collision on Highway 7 east of Oakwood claimed the life of a 27-year-old Lindsay man last night.
Emergency crews responded to the four-vehicle collision just after 6pm, pronouncing the man deceased at the scene. Another individual, a 65-year-old from North Bay, sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Highway 7, from Opmar Road to Taylors Road, was closed as the OPP Traffic Incident Management Team (T.I.M.E.) investigated the accident.
No further details have been released.
