Local film buffs are counting down the days to opening night of the 20th annual Peterborough ReFrame Film Festival.
On January 25th at Showplace, Boil Alert will open the festival, which is returning to a full in-person event over four days but is also offering a virtual option, with select films screened online.
ReFrame creative director Eryn Lidster says Boil Alert checks all the boxes as the ideal festival opener.
Lidster adds festival organizers are excited to release the full lineup of films in early January.
Lidster says the festival’s enduring success remains rooted in wide community support.
