A newly formed choir comprised of Trent University students is sharing their holiday season joy with Peterborough seniors.
Founded by Trent lecturer Dawn Balsdon, the 35-member Trent Student Choir has been practicing a repertoire of holiday season classics to perform at area long-term homes during December.
Trent-Fleming Nursing Students Association vice-president Ifeatu Harris-Eze is a member of the choir’s organizing committee. She says making connections with the broader community is the key goal of the initiative.
Harris-Eze says the choir’s musical selections will be familiar to their audiences.
She adds that the choir will be looking for the opportunity to give more public performances.
