Peterborough Musicfest is again offering the opportunity to not only give that special someone a gift that provides all year round but also provide the gift of free music to the community at large.
The festival’s 2024 Diner’s Books are now available for purchase, featuring deals at close to 70 restaurants – a potential savings of $780. Musicfest general manager Tracey Randall says 21 of the restaurants featured in the book are new to this year’s offering.
Randall says last year’s Diner’s Book campaign brought in $33,000, which helped pay for the music acts brought to Del Crary Park this past summer.
Randall says a survey of festival attendees done this past summer revealed one remarkable statistic.
Musicfest Diner’s Books cost $25 and are available at the Lansdowne Place customer service desk, the Tourism Visitor Centre at 270 George Street North and online at ptbomusicfest.ca/shop. Those who buy three will receive a fourth book free.
