Peterborough’s ReFrame Film Festival returns this January as a fully hybrid event, featuring a return to an in-person experience followed by a virtual screening option.
Marking its 20th anniversary in 2024, screenings will be presented January 25th to 28th at Showplace and Market Hall, with select films then being screened online from January 29th to February 4th.
ReFrame executive director Kait Dueck says the return to a fully in-person event is long overdue, providing a boost welcomed by many.
Speaking to the virtual component of the festival, Dueck says it has proven popular, hence the decision to bring it back for 2024.
Dueck adds the film festival is where it’s at today because of the dedication of many, both prior and currently.
The full film schedule will be revealed a couple of weeks prior to the opening. Meanwhile, a limited number of early bird in-person and virtual screening passes are available until December 1st at www.reframefilmfestival.ca.
