The goals have been set and now the community is being asked to step up and support the Salvation Army.
This year’s ‘Hope for All Seasons’ Christmas campaign has been launched.
Christmas Support Worker JoAnne Leach says money raised is critical to help the non-profit run its programs.
Leach adds this year is going to be very challenging, with new users at the food bank having increased 74 per cent compared to the same time period last year.
Leach says they are trying to raise $540,000 through the mail-out fundraiser while aiming for $110,000 at the Christmas Kettles located throughout the city.
