A Peterborough native and Trent University student is off to Chile to compete with the senior Canadian archery team at the Pan Am Games.
Amelia Gagné, who is currently ranked first among Canada’s female junior archers, will make her debut with the national team at the games in Santiago.
Gagné’s skills were honed early on at Saugeen Shafts in Bancroft.
Beyond the Pan Am Games, Gagné is hopeful of representing Canada at the 2024 and 2028 Olympics.
