The Petes have made a tweak to their roster.
General Manager and Vice President of Operations Michael Oke announced on Friday that the team has reassigned forward Nathan Leek to the Whitecourt Wolverines of the Alberta Junior Hockey League.
Leek was selected in the first round, 11th overall by Peterborough in the 2023 OHL U18 Priority Selection. This season, Leek featured in three regular season games for the Petes, as well as three preseason games.
Oke says he believes playing in Whitecourt will provide Leek with regular playing time to continue his development.
The Petes are back in action on Friday, when they travel to St. Catharines to take on the Niagara IceDogs. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. You can hear all the action on FREQ 90.5.
