After a great start to the OHL season, Petes’ rookie Carson Cameron has received a nod from Hockey Canada.
Cameron has been named to the Canada White Roster for the upcoming 2023 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge.
Head Coach Rob Wilson is very proud of the Bobcaygeon-native.
The tournament will take place from November 2nd to the 11th in Charlottetown, PEI.
Cameron was selected by the Petes in the first round, 13th overall, in the 2023 OHL Priority Selection. Through nine games this season, the Central Ontario Wolves product has scored one goal and added four assists for five points, putting him third in OHL rookie defenceman scoring.
In the summer, Carson was one of 66 under-17 players selected to take part in the Hockey Canada Program of Excellence Summer Meetings.
