Members of the City of Kawartha Lakes detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police have released details on a recent drug bust.
On September 28th, OPP apprehended three individuals who were under specific conditions not to associate with one another and were found together in the same vehicle at the Lindsay Court.
This led to a further investigation, resulting in the seizure of a range of illegal substances, including cocaine, fentanyl, crack cocaine, crystal meth, psilocybin, and various pills.
The individuals arrested and charged as a result of this investigation are:
- Aliza HOTCHIN, 41 years of age, a resident of Brock Township, facing charges of:
- Failure to comply with undertaking (x2)
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking (x4)
- Possession of a Schedule II substance for the purpose of Trafficking (x1)
- Chris FERGUSON, 44 years of age, a resident of Bobcaygeon, charged with:
- Failure to comply with undertaking (x2)
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking (x4)
- Possession of a Schedule II substance for the purpose of Trafficking (x1)
- Preston HUGHES, 41 years of age, a resident of Bobcaygeon, charged with:
- Failure to comply with undertaking
All accused individuals are scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay on various dates in October.
