A 43-year-old Peterborough woman is facing charges after an incident late last week.
Police responded to a residence in the area of Hunter and Aylmer Streets around 8:15 am Thursday morning, where they discovered that an apartment had been entered and a vehicle stolen from the parking lot.
The stolen vehicle was later found parked near Brock Street and Water Street and when officers approached, they found a woman passed out inside with the engine still running.
They were able to wake the suspect, who was showing signs of impairment, and take her into custody without incident.
