The Petes have inked their first-round pick from the U18 Priority Selection to an OHL Scholarship and Development Agreement.
Nathan Leek, a native of Alliston, is a 6’1″, 2005-born forward who played in 35 games for the Barrie Colts U18s last season, leading the OMHAU18 league in scoring with 30 goals and 34 assists for 64 points.
Leek also featured in five games for the OJHL’s St. Michael’s Buzzers, recording an assist.
General Manager Mike Oke says they are excited about the addition and that he’s a big forward with a good shot who has shown an ability to put the puck in the net.
