With temperatures in the 30s forecasted for next week, Peterborough splash pads will remain open until September 11th.
Originally scheduled to close for the season on September 5th, all seven Peterborough splash pads will be open an extra week from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.
Splash pads are located at King Edward Park, Nicholls Oval, Rogers Cove, Kinsmen Park, Barnardo Park, Turner Park and Hamilton Park.
Meanwhile, beaches at Beavermead Park and Rogers Cove are not being supervised, with the seasonal lifeguard program ended for the season.
