Mother Nature certainly made her presence known in Peterborough.
The city was pounded by torrential rain and even some widespread hail early in the evening.
The Parkway between Lansdowne Street West and Clonsilla Avenue was closed to traffic for a bit, while the intersection of The Parkway and The Queensway also had major flooding as did the area of Neal and Ashburnham.
City of Kawartha Lakes Police also reported that multiple roads had been flooded and that officers were responding to hazardous conditions across Lindsay.
Otonabee Region Conservation Authority has issued a flood watch.
