The Creekside Music Festival returns to Apsley this September, bringing several music acts, many of them local, to a beautifully scenic property bordering Eels Creek.
This year’s lineup includes Dwayne Gretzky and Melissa Payne, both of whom headlined at Peterborough Musicfest this summer, as well as Blue Hazel, The Good Brothers, The Weber Brothers Band, Hunt The Hare, The Ireland Brothers and Montana Sky.
Organizer Mike Del Mastro says the festival has grown from a one-day one-off event to a weekend affair, which this year will be held September 9th to 11th with just 700 tickets available. Also involved is Alicia Scriver, who says presenting local music remains a priority.
Del Mastro notes the festival’s location holds as much appeal as the stage lineup.
Scriver says a number of representatives of a number of community organizations will be on hand collecting donations.
