It was a night the Peterborough Jr. A Lakers want to forget. Following a confidence building win against the Whitby Warriors on Monday, the Lakers were trounced by the Toronto Beaches 13-4, being outshot 67-31 in the process.
Nick Roode had a pair of goals for the Lakers with Tom Collins and Nick Dilauro adding singles.
Jackson Hainer made 54 saves in the loss.
The Lakers currently sit in 10th place, outside of a playoff position, with a record of 3-9 on the season.
After a couple days off the team will hit the road on Friday, to face Kitchener-Waterloo, before returning home on Monday to host the Brampton Excelsiors.
