The City of Peterborough has announced that they’ll be putting a fireworks display to celebrate Canada Day.
On Saturday, July 1st, right after the Peterborough Musicfest concert wraps up at Del Crary Park, the skies above Little Lake will come alive with a 30 minute display of fireworks, set to begin at 9:30pm.
To kick off the evening’s festivities, the talented fiddling duo of Natalie McMaster and Donnell Leahy will hit the Crary Park stage at 8 pm, setting the perfect tone for an unforgettable night.
There will be a temporary closure of Crescent Street near the t-wharf prior to and during the fireworks show. However, local traffic will still have access.
Residents are reminded to adhere to all on-street parking regulations, including calendar parking if applicable, and to avoid blocking fire hydrants and driveways. For more details about Canada Day festivities, such as the parade, visit peterborough.ca/CanadaDay.
