Peterborough Humane Society has initiated ‘The Home Stretch’ Campaign, a fundraising effort to secure $3 million for the Our Pet Project capital campaign.
Although the Humane Society recently relocated to 1999 Technology Drive, with a grand opening scheduled for June 24th, they still require additional funds to achieve their financial target. While they have managed to raise nearly $10 million so far, the remaining $3 million will be used to pay off the construction loan.
The transition to the larger facility has already led to remarkable outcomes, including over 200 successful adoptions, 1,000 spay/neuter procedures, and the rehabilitation of 13 dogs.
