The Greek Festival is making a big return to Peterborough.
For the first time since 2019, Greek Fest will held on Sunday at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.
Secretary for the Church and organizer for the event, Sophie Spiridis, promises the day will give the community a dose of Greek culture.
Spiridis tells us funds raised will directly support the church’s new additions.
Local Greek restaurants are coming together to help prep souvlaki and gyros for the event, and two traditional dance groups will be performing at the festival.
The event, which is free to attend, goes on Sunday from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.
