The time has run out on the OHL career of Petes’ captain Shawn Spearing.
Spearing has been with the organization sincethe 2018-2019 season and has served has team captain for the last two years.
The Toronto-native says wearing the ‘C’ is an experience he’ll always remember.
Spearing says he’s not totally sure what the next chapter of his life in hockey will look like but he is going to embrace the change.
In total, he played 156 regular season games in Maroon-and-White and another 31 in the playoffs.
