It was a successful result for Peterborough’s Ninja Academy at the recent Tora Judo Tournament in Brampton.
Avery Fam earned gold during the April 29th and April 30th event in the U16 Female category.
Sensei Paul Teleki says Avery’s dedication and perseverance is owing to her successful results and the team is proud and inspired by her success.
Alexa Hendriks, Orion Teleki, and Liam Brown brought home silver medals in their respective divisions. Benjamin O’Bomsawin and Hunter Lawson brought home bronze medals, and even Sensei Teleki brought home a bronze in his respective -73kg Masters Division.
