A Peterborough retiree is $250-thousand richer this week.
Elizabeth Adamson was the lucky winner of Instant Crossword Deluxe’s $250-thousand top prize.
While picking up her winnings, Adamson explained she enjoys playing the Instant Crosswords but couldn’t believe she won the top prize.
She added their entire family was emotional when they shared the news.
Adamson says she plans to do some home renovations and travel with her new windfall.
Her winning ticket came from Parklaine Variety on Park Street.
