The Lakefield Chiefs have found themselves in a hole in their opening round playoff series against the Clarington Eagles. The Chiefs dropped game three against the Eagles, 4-1, and now trail the best-of-seven series 3-0.
Evan Wright opened up the scoring for the Chiefs just a minute into the game, with assists going to Matt Campbell and Clayton Shaughnessy, before the Eagles responded with four unanswered goals to take the win.
The Chiefs have been outscored 20-3 over the first three games, with the do-or-die game four scheduled for tomorrow at 7:25pm from the Lakefield Arena.
