Ontario NDP’s are imploring the Ford government to pass all recommendations under provincial jurisdiction surrounding intimate partner violence, or IPV.
86 recommendations were made following a 2015 inquest after the murder of Carol Culleton, Anastasia Kuzyk and Nathalie Warmerdamn in Renfrew County.
On Friday, NDP Women’s Issues critic Jill Andrew called for change.
Ontario NDP Leader Marit Stiles called IPV a public health crisis and is demanding the provincial government take a hardline approach and concrete actions towards change.
