The Rotary Spelling Bee is making a comeback.
Details of the event were announced on Wednesday. This years event will take place on Saturday, May 13th at the Whetung Theatre at Fleming
College.
Officials say with two divisions, a junior division for children in grades 4, 5, and 6 and a senior division for children in grades 7 and 8, this will be an exciting opportunity to students to hone their spelling skills and win great prizes.
While several local schools have already committed, organizers say there is still room for more participants.
The Rotary Club of Peterborough is one of four Clubs in the immediate area and one of over 12,000 clubs, with 1.22 million members in over 160 countries. The Club celebrated its 100th Anniversary on April 1st, 2021.
