It is not a good time to drive around some area highways.
Peterborough County OPP is asking you to reconsider any travel plans you have that may take you out of the city.
They are currently dealing with a serious crash on Highway 7 between Lansdowne and Sherbrooke, which is currently closed.
They are also dealing with a couple of tractor trailers that have jackknifed on the northbound lanes of Hwy 115. Officers say say the highway in both directions is pure ice.
