It was a battle of two teams on Thursday night, who were busy loading up at the OHL trade deadline earlier this week.
The Petes who made the majority of their moves last weekend, welcomed Owen Beck into the fold officially and welcomed back Brendan Othmann back from the World Juniors as they looked to extend their win streak to 9 straight games.
Their opposition, the Sarnia Sting, who brought in some extra enforcements including Del Mastro and Del Bel Belluz at the deadline came into town looking to extend their own win streak.
Freq 90.5’s Stew Kernan says that it was a tight game until the final 10 minutes of regulation, when a Peterborough boy was the difference maker for the visitors
