Great Canadian Wrestling (GCW) will be making a stop at The Venue in downtown Peterborough this weekend.
The show, being billed as New Years Evil, will take place on Saturday and will be the promotion’s first event of 2023.
The card will include wrestling superstars from all over Ontario, with the main event featuring a battle between Hamilton natives Jax Williams and Evan Greenaway
Owner David Wyldstar says that although their top priority is to entertain the fans, they’re also focused on helping local food banks by collecting donations at the door.
Fans who bring food donations to Saturday’s GCW event will have a chance to win some great prizes.
Wyldstar says that helping local food banks is no brainer for him and his entire wrestling organization.
The action gets underway at 5pm, with all donations going directly to the Kawartha Food Share.
