The Peterborough Police Service has addressed a longtime manpower challenge with the hiring of six new frontline officers.
Constables Jeremy Avey, John Bangay, Christopher Cox, Blake Harris, Daniel Hicks and Dominic Moukarzel were sworn in on December 19th at Peterborough City Hall.
Each recently completed basic training at the Ontario Police College with backgrounds in a number of fields such as corrections, security, customer service management and sales as well as volunteer experience with police auxiliary units.
