The moose population in Ontario is being put under the microscope.
Peterborough is one of the locations being monitored by aerial inventory surveys between now and February by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry.
Survey information about the number, age, and sex of moose is used to inform moose and habitat management.
Survey completion depends on appropriate weather conditions and adequate snow.
