A significant weather event has been declared by Peterborough County.
Environment Canada has issued a snow fall warning, calling for 20 cms of snow in the next 12-hours.
Staff say plows are currently on all routes and winter operations will continue around the clock until after the storm ends and the storm clean up can be completed.
During a significant weather event, residents are advised to use caution and are reminded that winter maintenance service levels for roads may not be met.
