After four years on Water Street, Peterborough-Kawartha MPP Dave Smith is moving his constituency office.
The current location is slated to be demolished for the construction of new housing units such as townhouses and two-bedroom apartments by Cherney Properties.
Smith says he and his staff will now be located along Chemong Road.
Smith adds he believes this is a great location for everyone in the riding, which includes those in Peterborough County.
He says effort is being made to ensure services are uninterrupted as staff and infrastructure move to the new site.
