It will be home sweet home for two-time Juno Award-winning singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Hawksley Workman when he performs December 11th at Market Hall.
The Peterborough resident, who tours the world on the strength of 11 albums and numerous producing credits, will bring what has become a seasonal season tradition for him to the downtown venue, performing songs from a “fan favourite” Christmas album that he recorded and released some 20 years ago.
Having moved permanently to Peterborough in 2020 with his wife, Workman says the city quickly became the home he knew it would become.
As a touring artist, Workman says the pandemic years were a challenge artistically but, on a personal level, allowed him to breathe and do a re-set. That said, he’s heartened by what he’s now hearing and seeing.
Tickets to Workman’s Market Hall show are available online at https://tickets.markethall.org/eventperformances.asp?evt=243.
