A 46-year-old man from Selwyn has been charged as part of an investigation into child pornography.
Peterborough County OPP say on Thursday, the accused was taken into custody after his home was searched. Officers seized multiple electronic devices for further analysis.
Thomas Christopher Cavanagh has been charged with:
Transmitting sexually explicit material to a child contrary to section 171.1(1)b;
Making child pornography contrary to section 163.1(2);
Distribution of child pornography contrary to section 163.1(3);
Possession of child pornography contrary to section 163.1(4) – three counts; and,
Luring a child for a sexual purpose contrary to section 172.1(1)a – five counts
