A lot of people are looking for ways to get rid of their leftover pumpkins from Halloween.
The city is encouraging you to consider environmentally friendly alternatives and not place them in the garbage.
Staff say Halloween pumpkins can be placed at the curb alongside regular green waste on scheduled collection days until November 25th. You are asking to ensure green waste containers weigh less than 22 kilograms.
Pumpkins can also be put in backyard composters.
